[Watch] Robbers Posed As Postmen To Rob Victim In Bangi Dental Clinic

The employees and patients at a dental clinic in Bandar Seri Putra, Bangi, were victims of a robbery on Monday (7 November) around 12.48pm.

In a CCTV camera footage that went viral, two men wearing motorcycle helmets with one wielding a long parang were seen ambushing a woman inside the clinic.

Despite facing two men, the victim tried to put up a fight. One of the clinic staff tried to step in to help the victim but she was also threatened with the parang.

After the robbers got what they wanted, the man with the parang continued to intimidate everyone in the clinic before leaving.

The victims, including three patients and two children, tried to console and check up on each other after the ordeal.

Kosmo reported that the robbers managed to gain entry into the clinic by pretending to be postmen.

According to the police statement, the robbers made away with a Macbook laptop, two smartphones, approximately RM2,000 in cash, and a gold chain.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.

The case is being investigated under Sections 395 and 397 of the Penal Code for armed robbery. Upon conviction, it carries a maximum 20-year jail term and whipping.
