St. Matthews dental practice offers free service for ‘Free Dentistry Day’

St. Matthews Dental Care opened its doors and offered services free of charge Saturday.Free Dentistry Day is part of a national day dedicated to providing free dental care to the estimated 108 million Americans without dental insurance. During a four-hour period, patients were provided with cleanings and tooth extractions on a first-come, first-served basis.”We know there is a need in the greater Louisville area and we are wanting to be able to reach out to those who need it and help our people that are in pain,” said Dr. Beth Bailey, St. Matthews Dental Care.There were so many people wanting to take part there was a line outside before it even opened.
