Province Signs Two New Agreements With Dental Association

Two new agreements have been signed between the NL Dental Association and the provincial government.

The Children and Youth Dental Health Plan provides all children 13 and under with universal access to eligible dental services including exams, cleanings, and routine fillings and extractions. It also provides vulnerable teens aged 13 to 17 with access to examinations and extractions.

The Adult Dental Program provides basic services to those 18 years and older who are enrolled in the Foundation Plan of the NL Prescription Drug Program.

The combined value of the surgical/dental program are valued at over $14 million according to the provincial government.
