Hc Notice To Dme, Gmc Over Posting Of Dental Residents | Bhopal News

Bhopal/Jabalpur: A division bench of MP high court issued notices to respondents in connection with a petition of a dental college student challenging the condition of the management of Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, to appoint only students of the college as resident doctors even though it doesn’t have a course in dental surgery.
Dr Anjana Nahar from Bhopal in her petition said that she has done her MDS course from Rishiraj College, Bhopal. Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, had issued a notification for appointment of resident doctors. According to rules of appointment, only students of Gandhi Medical College would be eligible for appointment as resident doctors though Gandhi Medical College does not run any course in dental surgery. She had made a representation to the medical education minister, director medical education and commissioner, Bhopal, in this regard but there was no action on their part, therefore she had to move court.
Director, medical education, dean, Gandhi Medical College and commissioner, Bhopal, have been made party in the petition. tnn
