Rohtak: A total of 29 dental hygienists who have been selected in the Haryana health department have been running pillar to post for joining their duties for the last three years.
The notification for 29 dental hygienist posts was advertised in 2019 by the state health department and forms were filled by September 2019.
One of the candidates, who is struggling to join work, said that the written exam was conducted in July 2021 and its result was declared on February 5 by HSSC. “Even the biometric and document verification process has been completed in May, but joining date has not been given by the state government for unknown reasons,” said another candidate. The dental hygienists said that several other posts have been filled, but they were left out.
Ritu Kashyap, one of the candidates, said that they have repeatedly met DGHS Panchkula and written multiple times to state health minister Anil Vij, but to no avail.
Rohtak CMO Dr Anil Birla said that their file would be cleared from state headquarters and would be given joining only after being given a nod from higher ups.
