Carestream Dental announced today it’s partnering with Overjet, the industry leader in dental artificial intelligence. The partnership gives Carestream Dental’s customers easy access to Overjet’s FDA-cleared, AI-powered X-ray analysis tool that detects decay, quantifies bone loss and highlights other areas of concern.
Overjet also analyzes 18 months radiographs from previous visits and cross-references them with an office’s practice management system to identify potential decay and periodontal disease that has not been diagnosed. Research shows that diseased teeth are misdiagnosed nearly a quarter of the time using traditional methods.* However, AI eases the workload and streamlines the diagnostic process for practitioners, while building greater trust with their patients.
