Whatever happened to Winnie Cooper?

I used to be a big fan of the “Wonder Years” back in the days of yore (The late 1980’s / early 1990’s).

If you saw the show, then you probably remember Winnie Cooper.  (real name Danica McKellar) the cute girl Kevin had a crush on throughout the show who sort of represented the girl every boy had a crush on in elementary and middle school.

    The most surprising—and to me, admirable—thing about her is that she is a trained mathematician who’s on a mission to teach girls that “Math Doesn’t Suck”. She has a book by that name coming out next year.
