It is the Mitchell Corn Palace in SCENIC South Dakota!! (Darn long lunch puts me in #2 AGAIN!)

Dagnabit, I missed first prize…that there is none other than the Corn Palace. Haven’t made it there yet, but it’s on The List.

Before looking at other things, that is the Corn temple in Iowa. IN the 30’s they did a tribute to the man of the year, Adolf Hitler, complete with swastikas and everything! Good old mid west.

It is INDEED the Corn Palace, in Mitchell South Dakota, I went there once in a cross country trip back in 1995. It was very…. Corny.
