PlayStation 3 sells on eBay for 15,100 dollars
WASHINGTON (AFP) - A buyer in Britain won an eBay auction for one of Sony’s newly launched PlayStation 3 game consoles with a bid of 15,100 dollars.
The 60-gigabyte console, which retails for 599 dollars, was one of thousands being offered on the Internet auction site by profiteers hoping to turn a quick buck after the PS3’s US launch at midnight Thursday.

on npr this morning it was said that someone paid over 2000, close to 2500.- now I don’t play video games- explain to me why getting this before anyone else and not waiting until say- the after christmas sales- is so important- I just don’t get it. It’s mostly adults- why can’t they wait?
