Three Different Senators, Three Different Votes
Senators McCain, Clinton, and Obama were able to give us their votes on the FISA bill today, and their actions (or inactions) speak volumes. Note: while they were all busy campaigning for President, today’s Primaries were in the DC Metro area, and 2 of the 3 Senators were able to vote on this very important issue.
Obama - Voted NAY, to NOT GRANT retro-active immunity to telecoms for illegally wiretapping Americans at the direction of the Bush Administration.

McCain - Voted YAY, TO GRANT retro-active immunity to telecoms for illegally wiretapping Americans at the direction of the Bush Administration.

Clinton - Did not bother to vote, allowing her once again to not have to to take a stand on either side of an important issue, and thus try to please as many people as possible.
Does it get any more clearcut than that?
