Stick a Yellow Ribbon on your S.U.V

Well done!

This pretty much sums up how I feel about those idiotic yellow “I support the troop” ribbons on vehicles. I know I’ve been over this before, and I’m happy to report that I see way fewer yellow ribbons on the road here in Northern California than I did a few years ago.

I said it then, and I still say it now, it’s nothing more than the Neo-Con American Swastika.

Putting a $2 ribbon on the back your SUV doesn’t mean you support the troops, and it’s really not the message you’re trying to tell.

It’s a way of lying to yourself under the guise of “I Support the troops” when in reality, what you are really saying is that you’re in favor of the American Empire, you’re proud to tell the world of this fact, and if anyone disagrees with you, well then, by golly, they hate the troops!
