Seasons Greetings from Racine Wisconsin
Greetings from Racine Wisconsin!
Dolly and I have hit the road this week for the Holidays, and just as we did last 4th of July, we’ll be running Goofyblog from Racine Wisconsin, where there Venn Clan makes its home. Here are a few pictures I snapped today on cold, yet sunny day here in the land Cheese, Kringle, and the Green Bay Packers.

My namesake store in Racine, well, I wish it was my store. Porters of Racine sells some of the highest end furniture in the midwest.

A look towards Main Street, thats the very cold Lake Michigan at the end of the street.

My parents house in Racine. Not the house I grew up in (In Maryland) but a beautifull old house just the same. For you San Franciscans reading this, you get a HELL of a lot more for your money out here than you do in the City by the Bay. For what they paid for this Italianate 1850’s, 6 bedroom house, you could maybe buy a 1 BR studio in San Francisco…maybe.
Merry Chuanakwanzaistmas everyone!
More to come from the Great North soon.

Hey porter, if you really love Racine, you’ll put a picture of an O&H Danish Bakery on the Goofyblog along with a link so the peoples can gaze upon the glory that is Kringle!
