You know, I probably have an unhealthy hatred of Conservatives, Neo-Cons, Modern Day Republicans, and Evangelicals.

But man, I gotta tell you, when I see ignorant shit like this, it just makes me angry, not sure what else to say.

Maybe it’s because I grew up in the South or rural America (Mostly), and during my formative years I spent a lot of time around people like this. No, I didn’t hang out with these nutjobs, but these nutjobs were close enough (usually the fathers of the girls I dated).

I realize the left and right have extremist on both sides, but the blatent ignorance, (or desire to put their fingers in their ears, close their eyes, and not witness the truth) of the right-wingers rubs me in a much worse way than the nerdy, naive and possibily over idealistic way of your typical extreme left-winger.

These people are not just stupid, they’re PROUD of being stupid! They wear stupid as if it’s some sort of badge of honor!

Take this genius for example, he creates this moronic nonsensical song, prints copies onto CD’s, and gets his friends (or forces his family) to parade around with it as some sort of proud showcase on stupidity.

When I was growing up, I thought conservatives were people who wanted things to stay the same, or if they wanted change, they wanted it slowly. Fair enough.

But as I’ve grown older, I’ve also come to learn that the conservative agenda is an agenda based on fear and ignorance.

Fear of change or anything different, like that man with the turban who lives down the block, or those two guys holding hands in the park (And in past years, people of a different color).

And Ignorance in that only by remaining ignorant of your surroundings, and what’s REALLY out there, can you sell yourself (and others) that change is bad. You basically have to be willing to LIE to yourself, through some sort of mechanism (Hatred of immigrants, blaming liberals, Religion, etc.) and sell yourself on some excuse to stoke the fear, keep the coals of fear nice and warm in order to justify yourself to others, and, well yourself.

There must be some Darwinistic purpose for people like this to exist. Right?

Whether they be some Dipshit wraping themselves in the Stars & Stripes, or some moron wanting to blow himself up to be with 77 virgins.

If only we could put them on their own little island together so the rest of us could be left alone.
