Titans’ T-Rac subject of suit

Former QB says mascot hurt him

Former New Orleans Saints quarterback Adrian McPherson has sued the Titans because their mascot, T-Rac, ran into him with a golf cart at halftime of an Aug. 12 preseason game at LP Field.

The suit, filed Friday in Davidson County Circuit Court, seeks $15 million in punitive damages and $5 million in compensatory damages.

A Titans spokesman said the team is aware of the case but does not intend to comment.

McPherson was warming up on the field when T-Rac ran into him with the cart as the mascot was throwing items to fans in the stands. McPherson suffered a deep bruise in his right knee.
