Could Michael Bloomberg, the Mayor of New York City be preparing to run for President?

I don’t know if he is,  but he bailed out of the Republican party today.

Seeing as he is Pro Choice, Pro Gun Control, Pro Gay Marriage,  and has more or less been Anti-Bush for years, one must wonder what the hell he was doing in that party to begin with.   I really don’t know that much about him,  but it could be nice to see a 3rd party President.

If he does run,  it could get interesting in 2008,  he might even win as long as he doesn’t pull a Ross Perot wack-job routine of joining, then quiting, then joining again.
