Robot Sex in just 5 years?   woo Hoo!

Other dilemmas may arrive sooner than we think, says Christensen. “People are going to be having sex with robots within five years,” he said. So should limits be set on the appearance, for example, of such robotic sex toys? The greatest danger, however, is likely to lie with robots that are able to learn from their “experiences”. As systems develop, robots are likely to have much more sophisticated self-learning mechanisms built into them and it may become impossible to predict exactly how they will behave.

Ok… Maybe not “woo hoo”

I’ll admit there would be something kinda creepy about having Robot Sex. 

But then again,  take a look at some of these real dolls…

Geesh,  if they can make a real doll into a walking, talking living robot….. wait.. nah…. what am I saying… that’s still too creepy for me too.  

It would be much better to have a real girlfriend/wife than a robot one right? 

Would a robot want to cuddle after sex? 

Would a robot bring you soup when you’re sick?

I don’t think so…. but…then again…  

Would a robot ever reject you? 

Would a robot demand all your time on the weekends?

Would a robot girlfriend nag you about _____ in your life?

Perhaps they can make a “High Maintenance” chip for a robot-girlfriend, and then I’ll believe it can be done.

I have to admit though, there’s something attractive about the idea of having a robot girlfriend who will never be on the cusp of being disapointed with you and will always look like a naughty whore (and probably have an on/off button too).
