You watch this and think it has to be some kind of Saturday Night Live phony commericial. Right? Wrong. Believe it or not this is a real ad…

And so the question becomes; just who is this “Competitive Enterprise Institute” that funded this ad? Well if you guessed non-profit funded by big oil, you’re right. Exxon Mobil is a major funder as is the ARCO Foundation, CSX Corp, Texaco, The American Petroleum Institute, General Motors, The Amoco Foundation, Dow Chemical, and a host of other corporations involved with spewing CO2 into the air for generations.
