News: Republicans Slam John Kerry in Sad Attempt to Deflect Attention From Their Own Incompetence

John Kerry

John Kerry “You know, education — if you make the most of it, you study hard and you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”

White House slams Kerry for Iraq remarks

President’s spokesman says Massachusetts senator owes an apology

WASHINGTON - The White House accused Sen. John Kerry on Tuesday of troop-bashing, seizing on a comment the Democrat made to California students that those unable to navigate the country’s education system “get stuck in Iraq.”

“Senator Kerry not only owes an apology to those who are serving, but also to the families of those who’ve given their lives in this,” White House press secretary Tony Snow said. “This is an absolute insult.”

How do you like them Apples?

Tony Snow says John Kerry, a decorated vietnam vet…

”owes an apology to those who are serving, but also to the families of those who’ve given their lives in this… this is an absolute insult.”

Want to know what an “absolute insult” is Mr. Snow?

An absolute insult is sending those very same troops to Iraq on multiple extended tours.

An absolute insult is invading a nation based upon trumped up BS lies and phony intelligence.

An absolute insult is not providing those troops with enough armor, or providing enough care for them when they’re injured.

An absolute insult is the total, utter incompetence of the Commander in Chief in prosecution of this war.  Whether it be allowing arms to be looted to make IED’s,  disbanding the Iraqi army, not sending enough troops, or losing track of BILLIONS of dollars in Iraq,  that’s the absolute insult.

The incompetent Republicans will do their damndest to defect attenion onto John Kerry with a week to go until the Congressional elections,  is America going to fall for this crap again?

A lot of people don’t like to hear the truth, especially conservatives. Even if Kerry miss-spoke, there is truth to what he said. If you screw up your education, you may very well find yourself on patrol in Baghdad some day.

He meant Bush. A quote from his speech that the AP chose not to use:

“If anyone thinks a veteran would criticize the more than 140,000 heroes serving in Iraq and not the president who got us stuck there, they’re crazy.”

Was in a place yesterday with Fox on the screens. Omigod, over and over and over about Kerry. Pundit after pundit after pundit. And who gives a fuck! Kerry could’ve said: “All Dominos pizza delivery personnel should be sent to Iraq.” He could’ve said anything, but it wouldn’t have a thing to do with Bush’s War. The money wasted, the people killed and maimed. Instead of detailed analysis on the true cost of the war, graphic shots of the dead and wounded, pundits talking about the lies this Administration has spewed and continues to spew, detailed stories on the injured soldiers troubles getting adequate health care and their re-entry into American life, we get these assholes talking a mile a minute about Kerry! Kerry apologizes, Kerry said this, shots of Kerry windsurfing, shots of Hillary and other Dems and their reaction. Fuck! I wanted to throw something through the screen.
