Sorry for the dearth of entries on “The Goofyblog” (As Goofyblog General Manager Dolly often says) I’ve been super busy with last minute Burning Man preparations.

Speaking of which, tomorrow (Friday) at Noon I’ll be turning all commenting off until around September 5th or 6th.   Again this is to prevent the idiot spammers from flooding the comment area with penis enlargement ads while I’m away.  Sorry for the inconvenience on that.

So in the news…

Bush apparently see’s a pessimistic outlook in Iraq.  Ummm  DUH.   How is it that of everyone in the country, our idiot in chief is the last person to come to realize we’re in a never-ending hopeless quagmire, thanks of course, to him.

Poor Pluto has been demoted and is no longer a planet; I wonder what the Plutonians think of this, and whether or not this might lead to the first Pluto – Earth interplanetary war.

The Morning after pill “Plan B” (heh..Clever name) will now be available over the counter, how long until the religious right starts picketing your local Walgreens?
