Happy April Fools Day!
I’ve been pretty busy lately creating my new poker blog, it’s not ready yet, but you can see the work in progress here.
Here are a couple of April fools links for you…
Richard Branson and Google are teaming up to go to Mars in 2014!

The Nintendo Pee!
John McCain will be campaigning at Burning Man this year.
Here’s a flashblack for you…
Congrats to Graham, who once again won the What in the world is this contest. I think we need to change the rules, it’s obvious that people seeing the first correct answer can “ride” the answer to free points. So, we need to do something, but what? If you have any suggests live your comment on this post.
I’m still looking for volunteers for people to write on Goofyblog, if you’re interested let me know, and I’ll sign you up, all you have to do is have a brief interview with Goofyblog CEO and General Manager Dolly, if you’re able to charm her, than the gig is yours!

There was one What in the World, that ran while the commenting system was borked. A day or two later, when it came back, there was my comment, with other people’s after. Is there a way to turn off comments for one posting (The What in the World), say that it will be turned back on 3 days (or whatever) later, and let the comments queue up? Then after the time period, you just post the guesses, in the order they came in, and let the trash talking begin!

That’s a good idea. Then you’re not awarding so much for whoever happens to catch the posting first.

Well the problem with that is, I can’t turn off comments for individual posts, so if I hold them in a que, I have to hold them in a que for all posts, not just the WITWIS. At least I’m 99% sure of this, I’ll check into it.

Hmmm… have an actual email address that we could submit our guesses to then? Only give it to people who are willing to give you their address in return? That would also “time stamp” incoming guesses. If it were a “disposable” address, if it starts getting spammed, you just tell us a different address to mail to.

Oh, and not to be too whiney, but where are my points?
