A quick Morning Afternoon Cup for you guys.

First a quick note,  I’ll be leaving for Vegas tomorrow night, for a leap-day wedding, the blog may not get much action for the next few days, but I’ll try to post an entry or two from Sin City, also look for a long awaited post from Restless soon as well.

Well if you’re not,  look to the person to your left or right, apparently they are, as the U.S. Governments terrorist watch list approaches… (drum roll)…  ONE.. MILLION… PEOPLE.

That’s right!  There are ONE MILLION terrorists in the USA getting interrogated every time they try to fly on a plane.   It’s amazing that these “terrorists” have yet to rise up and destroy the country.   These must be the nicer new generation of terrorists.

Nice digging job… but… why?

Next year NASA is going to shoot the moon and hopefully make a splash.

If there was ever a more perfect of example of OLD Politics and NEW Politics, it’s this exchange between McCain (The Old) and Obama (The New).   I have to say it’s refreshing to see a Democrat who waves off the Republican bullshit like a stinky fart.  If only Kerry had been able to do this 4 years ago, there might be 1,000 U.S. Soldiers who would be at home with their kids right now, instead of being buried cemeteries around the country.

William F. Buckley died today.  I remember many years ago I worked with his newphew, Simon Buckley, at a company in Bethesday Maryland called Earth Satelite Corp.  I don’t believe they had much in common other than Simon was a spitting image of a younger William.  While I didn’t agree with most of Buckleys conservative views,  you have to give him credit for being 100% correct on the idiotic drug war.
