Man tries to auction leg
 
Wellington - A New Zealander whose right leg was amputated because of diabetes is trying to sell it to raise money for his daughter who has inherited the disease, a newspaper reported on Thursday.

Shane Torrance, 42, kept the tattooed leg in the freezer for 15 months before deciding to sell it. But his plan has been foiled by the on-line auction website Trade Me which said it was “distasteful,” the Nelson Evening Mail said.
