Iraqi Parliament holds special Session, Petitions USA to become 51st State.

The Iraqi leadership in Baghdad today held a special session of the Iraqi Parliament to vote on a proposal to become the 51st State in the Union, The proposal passed by an almost 20% margin.

The U.S. House Committee on Territories has been given the proposal, and will apparently put it on the fast track so that a bill may be brought onto the house floor next week.

Where would the 51st Star go on the Flag?   There’s no room,  I think D.C. and Puerto Rico already found that out.
