Hey Goofs!

Sorry about the lack of posts (again) I’m currently in Scottsdale Arizona for a work conference and things are pretty busy here, I’ve been working long hours and am pretty exhausted,  and when I’m not working, I’m either trying to catch up on sleep or hitting one of the many pools and bars at the resort we’re staying at.

On the way down here…

I saw Jeff Spiccoli (Shawn Penn) at the airport (SFO),  I love Shawn Penn, but wow, the guy has aged, or maybe he’s spending too much time in the sun?   Most people didn’t even recognize him as looked like a non-descript dressed down guy.   It took a good 5 minutes of him walking around with his coffee before someone recognized and went up to him to shake his hand, I kind of felt sorry for him, I don’t support most super stars are looking for recognition when they’re out and about, but he seemed to really appreciate the attention he got when he was finally noticed.

My deodorant was confiscated by security,  I bet my fellow Americans feel much safer now that my America-Hating deodorant has been taking out of circulation,  funny though that they had no problem with my huge bottle of Potassium pills (for my diet),  funny that the deodorant is more dangerous than 50% of a Potassium-Nitrate bomb, but I digress…

The weather down here has been muggy and humid,  which I’m told is normal for the monsoon season (who knew Arizona had monsoons?)  we were even treated to a pretty amazing lighting storm last night, something you see maybe once every five years in meteorlogically boring Northern California.

I’ll be here until Friday,  so I appologize in advance for the lack of goofyness on the blog,  it’s just too busy here for me to find the free time to bring you the high level of goofy news items you’ve grown accustomed to, heck, I don’t even have enough time to bitch about Bush and Company,  but from what I’ve been able to gather from the news, they’re lying, stalling, and corrupting just as much as we’ve come to expect.
