Cop Gets Rocks Off Busting Kids Skateboarding
While I agree that skateboarding kids can be annoying sometimes, this is just above and beyond in my opinion.
What a scary place this country (or Arkansas) has become when some fat bastard mall cop can strangle and rough up a few kids for riding skateboards on the sidewalk, give me a break.
His bullshit list of “crimes” is appalling, “Resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, interference with a law enforcement officer” What the fuck? Can you imagine a 1950’s era cop throwing Wally and the Beaver to the ground, threatening them with Mace (pitty he didn’t have a taser) and dragging them down to jail for riding skateboards?
Is it any wonder teenagers feel so dislocated from community in 2007? Something as innocent as riding a skateboard has become a major crime, I suppose roller skating and bicycles are next.

I dunno,….I wouldn’t be surprised if these kids were being total punks, total assholes, before the camera started rolling. I’d be willing to bet they deserved it.

Skateboarding in a no skateboarding area…no not a big deal…UNTIL some old person comes out of a store and gets run down, broken hip, ends up in the hospital, than bed sores, than dies. IT HAS HAPPEN!! That is why there are laws, to ensure safety. And if these kids think they can get away with this, what next will they do.
Kudos to the cop trying to wrestle 2 teenages at once!!!!

Ahh… So instead of just saying “Take it elsewhere kids, go to ____ Park, you can’t skateboard here”, it makes a lot more sense to strangle them, knock their heads, charge them with phony baloney charges, and create a whole friggin scene. Not to mention the bad press, inevitible law suits, yadda yadda yadda. Every day, as you read this even, there are cops telling kids to take it elsewhere, and most of them do, yet you find this tactic preferable to the sane one.

Yes….they were probably disturbing the peace. Peace means different thing to different people. Some places have laws for those things, some don’t. It looks like this place did. If not, then yea - It was overboard. If so, then yea - Screw those abnoxious brats.

uh,….Obnoxious.
