I stumbled upon this today, the pictures are pretty amazing so I thought I would share.  No this machine is not a model from some new Star Wars movie, these pictures are of a real $100 million dollar, 45,000 ton trenching machine being used on an open air coal mine in Europe.   These pictures are of its slow journey across Germany.
