So I had a good trip to Vegas,  my friend Misha is now married off (sorry ladies)

I played a lot of poker on this trip, I had a surreal saturday evening when I stolled over to Caesars Palace to play in their 7pm NL Texas tournament. 

I show up in the poker room to see cameras, boom operators, and bright lights everywhere, it turns out they were filming the annual Heads-Up tournament.  It was pretty exciting, all the big names in Poker were there; Phil Helmuth, Greg Raymer, Gus Hansen, Joe Hachem, Chris “Jesus” Ferguson (who ended up winning it), Mike “the mouth” Matasow, and more. 

It was very surreal to be playing my little wimpy $150 / 80 person tournament with all these poker superstars around. During their breaks they would come and watch our tournament…

… at one point I looked up from my table to see none other than George Castanza (Jason Alexander) watching our table.  Very surreal, I felt like I was in some sorta Poker version of Seinfeld.

I finished in 15th place, just out of the money (top 10)  but I played well so I can be happy about that.

And for those who are anxiously awaiting Dolly’s important announcement, I’m afraid you’ll have to wait a little longer.  She had planned on making her endorsement for President in Las Vegas, but as soon as we got off the plane she saw the slots, and all those shiney quarters, and went on a 72 hour bender. 

By time time I finally found her she was being held by security for trying to steal some quarters from a little old ladies slot  bucket.

Once she has a few days to calm down, we’ll get that video made.
