Another Republican Asshole, Patrick McHenry of North Carolina
What an ass.
This guy goes to Iraq, and talks about how the surge is working blah blah blah. Then proceeds to disparge the troops when a “Two bit security guard” (i.e. an American soldier) prevented him from using the gym at 5am. (boo hoo).
Then he describes rockets hitting the Green Zone (You know, because the surge is working so well) and how he was such a brave man while others died…but…doh.. it turns out no one died in that attack. I suppose it’s not impressive to tell your “war” story if no one died.

Yea, Iraq is doing splendid now. They think, and they might be at least somewhat right, that if you say the surge is working enough people will believe it.
