Coffee

Sorry for the lack of posts.

As of two days ago I am commuting every day to work from Sacramento to San Francisco. (Over 90 miles one way),  and it’s leaving little time for Goofyblogging.   This will be my routine until February 1st when I move into my new place back in the city.

A few tidbits for you…

Apple revealed its new iPhone today at Macworld here in San Francisco.  It looks pretty cool, but at a reported $500 bucks (with a 2 year contract), who wants to forego rent or a car payment for a cell phone?

In case you hadn’t heard, during the Christmas holidays Bush quietly signed one of his infamous signing statements that allowed him to ignore the law, and open anyones mail he saw fit in the never-ending war against terror (The perfect war that never ends).   Well the Rubber Stamp congress is no more, thank you America once again for putting checks and balances back into our system last November.

Speaking of no more Rubber Stamp, Kennedy is fighting back against Bush’s BS troop “surge”.  Could this lead to a constitutional crisis?  I hope it does, the surge itself is an obvious attempt at playing politics with America’s troops,  but should that be a surprise?  They’ve been a pawn in this war of lies from day 1.

And finally…

It looks like Crissy’s house has burned down,  no sign of Jack Tripper or Mr. Roper.
